This is John trying his very best to "hold" his sissy (don't worry, I'm holding her!! He's "helping"). She's still so small!! John thinks that she's just a doll to play with these days...it should get interesting when she can stand up to him!!

Here are some pictures of Tim and Lizzy meeting for the first time...

Lizzy Is Home!!

Lizzy came home last Thursday to plenty of adventure!! Her brother (John) had pneumonia, so everyone was frantic about the two of them being together. Moogie came in town on Friday to help Helen and of course, meet Lizzy. She has been so calm since coming home...my guess is that hospital was WAY TOO quiet and the noise of her brothers at the house is soothing (well, as soothing as it can be!) Those are the noises she heard the entire time she was in her Mama's belly! She is such an angel! I just want to always hold her!! Here are some pictures of her at home...

Elizabeth Porter

On January 14th, my brother and sister-in-law's 3rd edition arrived! Elizabeth Porter was born Monday morning, coming in at a whopping 6 lbs. 4 oz, 19.75" long. She has a FULL head of hair!! I was picking on her yesterday, giving her mohawks and all. I'm going to love playing with her hair!! We LOVE our little boys but are so excited to finally have a little girl in the mix!! (Though...bless her heart when she starts dating...two big brothers AND a daddy!!I'll just need to let her know not to bring any boys around during hunting season! Apparently dads like to clean guns in front of potential boyfriends!!)

Tim Cooked A Ham!!

On New Year's Day we had our traditional meal of ham, cabbage and black-eyed peas. This year, Tim cooked the ham (which was FABULOUS)...just had to show off this picture of Tim and his roommate Nick trying to figure out how to cut the ham. My sister, Veronica, and I got a big kick out it!!

Happy 2008!!!

Ok, so I'm a little late on all this, I've been totally intending on creating this page a couple of weeks ago, but as the saying goes "Better Late than Never!!" I am so excited about 2008!! I hope that great things come out of this year! I've got a great new job that I actually enjoy waking up and going to! Tim and I are better than ever! New babies have blessed our lives so we'll get to watch them grow up this year!!

I started off New Year's Eve at work! Yep. I had to work on NYE, but it wasn't that bad. I got off around 2 and then came home, took a nap then went shopping w/ my gift certicates from Linda and Cherie. (I LOVE Black and White, btw...) We started the night off at Tim's house. Brian Mann cooked a bunch of us dinner, we played games and enjoyed each other's company. When it got closer to midnight, we headed to our friends' Amy and Brett's house to ring in the New Year! We had a lot of fun!!

First Christmas Away From Home

Ok....so I had my first Christmas away from my family. At first it was kind of strange, but the Raffertys and Behrens made me feel so welcome that I felt like I was part of their family by the time I left! Tim and I went to Charlotte, NC to see Dave, Cherie, Baby Maddie, Mike and Linda. We had so much fun and were so appreciative of Dave and Cherie welcoming us in their home. The best part of the trip??? We got to meet Madeline...or better known as Maddie. She is absolutely WONDERFUL!! I had so much fun watching her figuring things out. She was born on November 20th and has kept us all entertained on a daily basis (yes, I check her blog quite regularly!!)

I missed my family very, very much but if I had to be away from them, I couldn't ask for a better family to spend Christmas with!!!
