Ive had a real bad case of vertigo today, so Tim picked up Jack and took him to Target to spend one of his gift cards. He racked up. :)
And...two boys at Target apparently equals lots of groceries that are not on the list! ;) *two different kinds of cereals, etc.

J Man didn't have school today because of parent/teacher conferences. Moogie came to watch him and he had a big time. Moogie had coffee after noon. Ha ha.
Well, cleaning the floors is getting hard for me. Today Ty Ty tracked in mud. Thankfully, I have a little helper. ;)J wanted a photo shoot. It was my turn, then his turn....
My turn:
J's turn (look, he got me and Clay!)
We worked in Clay's room tonight. My little helper would take all the toys out from where I put them, throw them in a pile and tell me they were his.

It's serious y'all. No complaints from mom. I despise laundry! That's Tim's arena. And as I said...it's serious! ;)

I passed my glucose test, so no gestational diabetes here! Then Clay and I took a nap and it was wonderful!! A nap on a Monday! :)
J Man. He has big shoes to fill, what with all the amazing influences he has in his life (Daddy, Grandpa, Pawpaw, Uncle Bubba, Uncle Nick, I could go on and on).
He may even stumble and fall while he's working to fill them...
But I have NO doubt in my mind that he will get right back up and carry on.
Because that's what he does. He does not let challenges hold him down. He's strong, and smart (and stubborn) and kind, and he will go places. I'm so very proud of him and love watching him blossom into the young man he will become.
He loves to read. And sing. And dance. And be outside. He is almost (almost) potty trained. He is so independent. Makes me cherish his cuddle moments with mommy. I know they won't last as long as I would like.

J got a special treat and ride in the front seat from Moogie's to the house. He thought he was big stuff.
Yes, that is Tim on J's tricycle...
Next project, refurbishing this 60 year old rocking chair that was used for my mom, me and Veronica.

Daddy and J went to the park while I tackled some of C's room
And nothing is safe in this house anymore. If J wants it and it's out of reach, he will find a way...

Jack made his own "football helmet" with painters tape.
Jack and a monkey were jumping on a bed...
Monkey fell off and hit his head,
This is one of two drawings I did for Clay's room. The theme is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. I'm really liking how it's coming together. I'll do a full room post once it's more put together.
