Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving here in Little Rock. We started off the morning Skyping Grandlin and Pawpaw (that's the picture of Jack and Tim looking at the computer) since they stayed in Dallas this year. Then, Tim and I hit the kitchen. This year was the first for us to be responsible for cooking the turkey. Tim took on that project and he did fantastic. I made a bunch of sides and the Pumpkin Pecan cheesecake. All yummy and Jack had fun!!

The picture of the painted turkey is made with Jack's handprint. We started off the morning with an arts and crafts session. I helped quite a bit this year, but I'm sure Jack doesn't mind. ;)

It's a lazy Sunday at our household. As I type this my sweet boy is taking a nap on my chest and our Saints are on tv. This must be a slice of heaven handed down to me. We have some storms moving in so it's dreary out.

Yesterday, we had some friends over. Jack got to meet sweet Lilly. He really liked her and had lots to say. She wasn't too sure of him. ;)

Election Day Eve

Tomorrow is Election Day. I can only hope and pray with all my might at this point. At least I know I did my part!!

Jack's First Halloween!!!

Precious Moments

I must admit, I'm almost envious of the technology we have to capture moments with Jack...I wish we had this kind of stuff when I was a baby. What I wouldn't do to have moments captured of me with my grandparents. It is going to be so neat for Jack to look back at these videos and pictures that he has of spending time with such special people in his life, like his grandparents.

Grandpa stayed with us a couple of weeks ago...I posted a picture of him singing to Jack...but now, I'm adding video. Such a priceless moment. I honestly was tearing up watching this sweet encounter. 

Frogs and Hogs

So, I found a cute way to decorate cupcakes (though of course it looked a thousand times better in my mind than the end product). So, Tim and I spent our Friday decorating cupcakes to represent our alma maters' mascots. Yes, you read that correctly (and there is proof below)...Tim and I both participated while Jack took his evening nap!! It was so much fun.

I've been working on our Fall Play. I'll get pictures to share with you all. I promise, I haven't forgotten about blog land. I have been taking pictures of the new place (before and after) to share. After the play, I'll be able to spend more time on the computer. Ok, maybe that's wishful thinking...but I will make an effort!

It's been a busy couple of weeks...my department went to a convention at Mt. Magazine one weekend and we've been busy at school getting ready for the Homecoming assembly this upcoming Thursday. I'm going to take pictures of the finished stage tomorrow. Can't wait to share with you guys! I'm so proud of my kiddos! They are SO TALENTED!! Tim and I are still trying to sell this house...and ready to show off our new home! Timmy turns the big 3-0 on Saturday and of course, football is...well, the Hogs were disappointing last weekend, the Saints game was scary until the 4th quarter...but LSU is ranked 1 so Tim is pleased.
