State Champs!!!

Our boys basketball team played in the state championship today and WON! What a great year for the NLR Wildcats! Jack, Will, one of us buddies and I went to watch them play. We had so much fun, though Jack got overwhelmed by the attention at times (it always seemed to be when I was trying to take a picture). Don't let the pictures fool you, little man was having a blast flirting and hamming it up with all the pretty girls. He also had lots of fun beating on his cousin. The only thing that really startled him was when the entire arena cheered for the multiple Allie-oops tha our boys served to Fayetteville High. Final score NLR 64-52, FHS.

2.24.13

Jack and Tim came to hang out with me at school for a couple of hours today. Jack LOVED the singing, dancing and lights. He'd get so excited and I think there were a couple of times he was even singing along. Tim and I were cracking up. He got to sit on stage and watch for awhile. He loved it, even though I wouldn't let him crawl around.

During intermission J got to go backstage and meet all mommy's kiddos. He was quite popular. (Of course)

Didn't get any pictures of him at the dress rehearsal, but Tim sent me this when they got home.

My coworker took the picture of our lead in action. Cutie patootie. I'm exhausted, and I miss my boys like crazy, but this is my favorite part of my job.

2.23.13

Daddy has been so good at sending me pics of little man while I'm working. The boys had lots of fun playing together today. The shot of Jack under the table is when they played hide and seek. Jack apparently thought that was so much fun!!

2.22.13

My phone blew up tonight while sitting through tech rehearsals. The collage is of my students during tech rehearsals. They kept texting me pictures of them backstage.

The Jack pics are what his daddy sent me all night since I don't get to see him until morning.

2.20.13

So, we're in the middle of an ice storm. Again. Dang. I'm hoping we don't get it bad and we can go to school in the morning.

Working hard on the musical. I am staying at school until about 8 every night. I miss my little guy so much. The musical is next week, so ready to get back to routine and spending time with my little guy and pups and husband.

Musical!!

Tis the season for...MUSICAL!! this year we're doing "Thoroughly Modern Millie." It's about a small town gal coming to NYC in the Roaring 20s to make it in show business. Lots of tapping!! Woo hoo!!

We're working hard on the set. This is the last week I don't have to work late every day. I'll post pictures once the set is complete. As usual I'm so proud if these kiddos. They're amazing!

Last week of school

Well, today was our last day of class. We are giving final exams the rest of the week. Here are my crazy kids. The wig children are freshmen and will hopefully be in my class next year (the district is doing some weird things with our schedules). The kids "working" are my sophomores headed off to west campus--I'll miss them. I've had the sophomores for two years. They're my kiddos--even if they do drive me crazy sometimes!!

2.26.12

We are finished with the musical!!! This is such a fun, challenging experience and I truly look forward to next year. We always have a cast/crew party to wrap the show. Our sweet kiddos get together to get us little gifts. I absolutely had to share my gift...but mainly because of the awesome note they wrote me. The P.S. is my favorite. :) I love my job! Yes, you should be jealous, hee hee hee. ;)

2.1.12

Can you believe it's already February? I haven't even gotten around around to my fall play post...let alone my New Year post. How can it already be February?!? I suppose I slept away most of it...that or I have forgotten it, along with my keys and cell phone. ;) I'm at 14 weeks today, so we're trucking along. We have our 16 week visit on Valentine's Day, I can't wait to hear little bit's heart again! Then...in March, we should get an ultrasound that lets us know if Baby is a boy or girl.

I've been in Spring Musical mode. It's full swing now. It's so much fun, though, so I honestly can't complain, even if it is a bit time consuming. I've attached pictures of the set. It is still very much a work in progress, but as always, I'm so proud of these kids, considering all pieces have been built from scratch by these kiddos. Check out those stairs!! Plus it will be fun to see the progress and the end result, right? ;) please note the differences in what the kids are wearing, as these pictures were taken on different days (and of course are posted out of order). Shorts and t-shirts to jeans and fleeces. Gotta love Arkansas weather, right???

11.8.11

Because moving less than a month ago wasn't enough...   :)

I've been working on our Fall Play. I'll get pictures to share with you all. I promise, I haven't forgotten about blog land. I have been taking pictures of the new place (before and after) to share. After the play, I'll be able to spend more time on the computer. Ok, maybe that's wishful thinking...but I will make an effort!

9.27.11

It's been a busy couple of weeks...my department went to a convention at Mt. Magazine one weekend and we've been busy at school getting ready for the Homecoming assembly this upcoming Thursday. I'm going to take pictures of the finished stage tomorrow. Can't wait to share with you guys! I'm so proud of my kiddos! They are SO TALENTED!! Tim and I are still trying to sell this house...and ready to show off our new home! Timmy turns the big 3-0 on Saturday and of course, football is...well, the Hogs were disappointing last weekend, the Saints game was scary until the 4th quarter...but LSU is ranked 1 so Tim is pleased. Here are some pics from the convention and of the kids working on the stage.

Really glad they'll get on that lift instead of me. ;)

There's about 10 kids under that Emerald City. Hanging it was quite the adventure...(it's all foam peeps--not heavy)

Follow the Yellow Brick Road. ;)

We had Philly Cheesesteaks on Saturday at the Arkansas-Bama beating...at least the food was good. ;)
